This newborn photo shoot was done at the family’s home in Coquitlam. We brought our posing equipment, wraps and a basket for some of those perfect curly newborn photos of just baby, and then used their window sill and couch for their family photos.

For this maternity beautiful session at a home in Fort Langley, BC, the mom-to-be was getting her hair & makeup done when we showed up. We brought her a few casual pieces from our Client Closet to choose from, and scoped out the space for photo opportunities. There was no shortage of great pockets of light in this white, bright home! Their whole photo shoot was so relaxed and fun. Mom chose a t-shirt and jeans combination, and changed into one of our simple fitted black dresses to capture the shape of her growing belly.

With Valentine’s Day coming up we just had to share some of our favourite newborn sessions using the color pink! While our style is neutral and minimalist, that doesn’t mean we don’t use color. Soft colors like pale pink for a gentle pop of color, and a simple matching headband can add that subtle hint that you’re looking for without overpowering your images.
