KIM - Owner & Photographer
Kim is a newborn and family photographer with a deep love for babies, animals, and the little moments that make life beautiful. She began her journey by photographing over 1,000 babies at BC Women’s Hospital, home of Canada’s largest maternity ward — an experience that, along with becoming a mother herself, inspired her to create a full-service photography experience where new parents can truly relax, feel cared for, and receive timeless, meaningful art.
Kim’s work has earned several international photography awards and has been published in local media. In addition to photographing families, Kim is passionate about mentoring other photographers — many of whom have joined her team. She also loves connecting with local businesses and contributing to the community through creative collaboration.
Kim and her family are excited to be moving to Vernon, BC, where they’ll be surrounded by nature in the beautiful Okanagan Valley. While settling into this new chapter, she’ll continue returning to South Surrey regularly to serve families throughout Greater Vancouver with heartfelt, natural photography.
DANI - Photographer
Dani has worked on our team since 2019, she is the senior photographer for our sister company, and she has been taking on many of our newborn, maternity, and family sessions throughout Greater Vancouver. You can find Dani’s latest work in this blog post.
Dani is a fellow South Surrey mom, preschool photographer, and owner of her own portrait photography business. Dani has 14 years of working with and photographing kids, and she has two school-aged boys. She loves to spend her free time hiking with her dog, paddling on the water, and marveling over her houseplants’ new leaves (honestly, that last one makes her so happy).
Dani’s happy place is behind her camera, and there is nobody like her to get genuine smiles out of your kids. Make sure to request her next time you book with us!
FELICIA - Manager
One of the first people you may speak with when inquiring about photography is Felicia, who helps us stay on top of bookings and also plays an important role in managing our blog, website, social media, e-newsletter, and other marketing channels so we can reach more families like yours.
A Jill of all trades with over 15 years of administrative experience, Felicia’s resume is stacked with experience in office management, financial administration, bookkeeping, payroll/hr, marketing and business development.
Dreams really do come true, because Felicia has always wanted to join a community of friends and women in business. When she’s not chasing around her sweet little girl, she loves to curl up with a good book or practice barre, pilates, and yoga.
AIDA - Mini Session Photographer
Aida has assisted Kim on her newborn and family sessions since 2022, and has photographed many families and babies for our sister company. Aida brings a warm and inviting energy to her family sessions, helping our clients and their little ones feel at ease and excited for photos. She is a mom of 3 daughters and is originally from Afghanistan. Her love for photography was inherited from her father, who was a cinematographer and film director for Afghan Film in the 70's. While photography has always been a part of her life, Aida has been pursuing portrait photography for 2 years and is continuing to learn to perfect her craft along the way. She is proficient is English, Farsi, Urdu and learning to speak Arabic.
TASHA - Mini Session Photographer
Tasha has been assisting Kim on her newborn and family sessions for over a year, and has recently started second shooting for her as well as taking on sessions of her own for our sister company. Tasha brings an artistic energy to every session, capturing each family uniquely and creatively. Tasha is a North Shore-based professional lifestyle and family photographer and a mom of two wonderful boys. With a passion for capturing all the beautiful chaos of family life, she offers a candid, documentary style that brims with warmth and authentic emotion. Tash prides herself on ensuring that each photo session is a relaxed and fun experience.
