PREGNANCY LOSS, INFANT LOSS, AND INFERTILITY
In collaboration with the Butterfly Run Vancouver, BC Women's Health Foundation and Reproductive Mental Health we created this page to help connect with families going through pregnancy loss, infant loss and infertility, and to help bring awareness to this heartbreaking reality. Here you will find the stories of real life experiences with loss and infertility, resources for support if you’re going through it yourself, and how you can help us support other women and families going through it.
Newborn and family photographer, Kim Forrester, shares her story about miscarriage and experience with pregnancy loss that inspired her to create this project. Click the link below to read her full story and view images from her commemorative photo shoot.
Real Women.
Real Stories.
Storytelling connects us all, and with the limited supports available to women experiencing infertility or loss during Covid times, normalizing the conversation around these topics is an important step in helping others feel less isolated and alone. Through sharing your stories and her own, this is the first step towards change and healing.
Click the images below to read the stories of the amazing women who have shared their experiences with us.
If you’d like to submit your own story to share on this page, or book a commemorative photo shoot, please contact us.
