Our Favourite Lifestyle Newborn Photos | Vancouver, BC

Lifestyle newborn photography is natural, candid, and authentic, with the focus on telling your story of this special time in your life. Our expertise is newborn photography, and that includes lifestyle newborn photography and not just professional newborn posing. We are all about capturing genuine images in a beautiful way, whether it’s an in-home session with our mobile studio or at our natural light studio in South Surrey.

Through your eyes

One of our favourite types of images to capture during a lifestyle focused newborn session is to capture what YOU see. What do we mean by that? The photo above your shoulder as you look down at your sweet new baby, or between two parents as they hold baby together. These images remind you of what it felt and looked like to see your baby ‘through your eyes’. Many client’s have mentioned that these are some of their favorite photos from their session.

A window into your world

As a photographer, sometimes it’s nice to step back when a family is sharing a moment together and capture a wider shot. It’s almost as if we are peeking into your baby bubble and seeing this beautiful moment from afar as to not disturb it’s delicateness. With our mobile studio, we notice that when client’s have an in-home session and are feeling relaxed and comfortable in their own environment, these moments naturally come up without any prompting.

Up close and personal

Intimate and close up images can help to convey and capture the feeling and emotion in a moment. Authenticity is key and we’re able to achieve that with lifestyle newborn photography. We know how chaotic it can be with a new baby, so it’s nice when your client’s are relaxed during our sessions and slow down for a chance to bond with their new baby and each other. It’s one of the many reasons we love this style of photography.
