There are so many changes, challenges and shifts that take place during pregnancy, postpartum and beyond into motherhood, and women need more support and resources then ever. These Instagram accounts are some of our favourites, not only do we follow these accounts, but we’ve used their services first-hand. All these women are local small business owners who have one thing in common, the passion and desire to support other women and mothers and we could not be more for it!
If you haven’t heard of Matrescence you need to follow Cayley Benjamin. Motherhood Coach and mom to a sweet little boy, Cayley is on a mission to redefine motherhood and provide support and resources to moms. Not only does she offer 1-1 coaching and support, but her Early Postpartum and Seasoned Moms programs allow you to connect with other mothers and provides community support. As a past participant in her Seasoned Moms program, I can honestly say that the community, insight, support and knowledge I gained truly was so valuable!
Based out of South Surrey, mother of 3 Jen, and her team at The Motherhood Project provide emotional, physical and social support for moms. Through their holistic wellness programs, The Motherhood Project offers a multitude of services including: fitness, doula services and perinatal mental health support. Her incredible team and community are that village of support that you are looking for.
Mother of 2, Angela from Bloom Natural Nutrition is a Certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant and Certified Holistic Private Chef. Angela is on a mission to support your journey into motherhood through nutrition and food by providing support through pregnancy, postpartum and beyond. We highly recommend her Bloom Bundles - not only are they healthy, but absolutely delicious!
Jaime is a professional home organizer and the owner of Crescent Living Co. As a professional organizer Jaime, works with a lot of busy families and corporate clients who are in need of solid organizational systems in their homes to tame the wave of chaos created by clutter. Her Instagram is great for tips and inspiration, whether you need help with your nursery or overall organization of your home - she’s the woman!
