Looking for some amazing kids clothes? These local brands are some of my favorites! You can shop for some amazing children’s apparel and feel great knowing these are not only local, but almost all are female-led brands based out of B.C. Check out my top children’s brands below!
Known for their Kawaii style graphics and gender neutral apparel, Whistle & Flute brings the fun with pops of color and playful designs. I love this brand because it’s youthful, fun and really gets the attention of my daughter. She loves wearing her sushi sweater, which by the way is not only trendy, but warm and cozy. There are so many great pieces from this brand, their hooded rompers are a fan favorite and they have great accessories to match, just check out their selection of hats. They even have milestone t-shirts and mystery pack deals throughout the year!
LITTLE & LIVELY - THE KINDRED STUDIO
Little and Lively under The Kindred Studio label is a solid brand for leggings, tees and sweaters. My personal favorite are the cotton/bamboo pullover sweaters that are lightweight and comfy. What I love about these sweaters is that they are stretchy and breathable, and can be worn all-year round. I find that even when I size up it fits like a cute and trendy oversized top, which helps as we get a longer wear without having to size up every time a growth spurt happens, they STILL fit! Not only are these pullovers comfy, they also come with some fun and modern designs, and twice a year they offer personalization on their pullovers which makes it a great item to keep for yourself or gift.
If you follow Jillian Harris, chances are you’ve probably hear of North Kinder. I have been eyeing their family apparel for awhile now but with a higher price tag wasn’t sure if I wanted to commit to one of their pieces without seeing it in-store. Well, this past Mother’s Day I was gifted with one of their mama crewneck sweaters and it’s amazing! I’m a sucker for an oversized comfy sweater and this one did not disappoint. The mama crewneck sweater is butter soft and oh so comfy, and the embroidered mama script around the collar is perfect!
I first discovered this brand at a local boutique on Main St., while looking for a Father’s Day present I stumbled across their “DADLIFE” t-shirts and thought it was the perfect gift for the hubby. Curious as to what other products they carried, I hopped onto their website and found an array of amazing clothing for the whole family, including some mama and mini matching tees that I just had to get. What’s really great is that they also have apparel for kids and grandparents too! The fabrics are soft and fits are great, I love their trendy and modern pieces. So many great gift options from My Cheeky Baby for the whole family!
Sets, sets, sets, this is my go-to! The sweatsuit sets for kids are ADORABLE, and they even have matching beanies! Talk about the whole package - or should I say the complete outfit head-to-toe. So many trendy and fun pieces for your minis. I personally love the mommy and me outfits and sets. If you like happy faces, fun patterns, and matching prints you’ve come to the right place.
